Overspray Removal

Need fellow Autopians help to remove paint overspray on my mother-lin-laws Ford truck. I tried using Zainos clay bar with car wash as a lubricant. This process takes out the minor overspray, with lots of elbow grease, but no luck for the heavy overspray. There must be a stronger cleaner and a more abrasive clay which I assume auto painters must be using. Please advise!

If the overspray is that bad, i would return the vehicle to the shop that did the work, and have them remove the overspray, they should have in the first place. They should have protected the rest of the vehicle properly, if they did they and you would not have this problem. If the overspray is automotive type paint, and not paint from a spray can, i can remember only two ways you can remove heavy overspray. #1 A good compound and a rotary polisher. #2 Wetsand the overspray off the finish, than buff the paint out.

I hope this helps.

maybe you can try the more agressive kinds of clay first?

I know meguaries makes one (that comes in 2 jars??) and the clay magic one
