overspray on motorcycle seat

I just got my bike back from the painter yesterday and it has overspray all over it. Getting it off the chrome and frame is no problem, but the seat is a little tricky. I've tried Leather Stuff, Danase Leather RX, Wolfgang Leather Cleaner, 4* Leather Cleaner, Meguiar's #39, and even some goat urine scented lexol and nothing seems to work. Before I break out the big guns, I'm just curious what would be your recomendations. I've tried claying it even and that doesn't seem to be doing much good. I don't know if the seat is leather or vinyl, but I'm guessing it is vinyl. Any help is appreciated. :thanks

This is a good reason to get a new custom seat to match that paint job. :D

You could try one of those citrus based cleaner. I know stoner makes one that says it removes paint.

or last resort some thinner, you could probably give a quick wipe to remove the paint without harming the leather.

A damp cloth with a touch of laquer thinner, be gentle and quick and then immediately after the paint is off, use one ofthe conditioners you mentioned :)

You could try either a magic eraser or an APC with a scotchbrite pad.

I'm kinda curious how you got overspray on the bike. The parts that were painter weren't shot while they were on the bike.

Good luck,
"J"

I think the parts were in the same general area. Sort of like how your car comes back from the body shop all covered in overspray and all they did was respray the bumper. If the vehicle is anywhere near the paint booth then it gets slammed with overspray. I'm going to recommend that he cover the bikes while he is working on the parts.
