Good afternoon everyone!

So I hadn't washed my truck since probably mid-December. Going to Europe for a while, plus an ice storm didn't help either. This morning the weather was decent, so the perfect time to wash the truck and try out some new items I had ordered from AG: The ShMITT and the Extreme Guzzler.

1) Wash with Megs Gold Class & ShMITT

2) Dry with Extreme Guzzler

3) Z5 on the cab and bed of the truck (I'll explain why!)

4) Natty's Blue on hood and fenders

As you can see, the truck was FILTHY:

This is where I got aggrevated. I washed the truck with the ShMITT and dried it with the Guzzler. As you can see, something caused marring. I believe that the many layers of dirt/sand combined with probably not pre-rinsing enough and using a one-bucket method caused this. My own stupid mistake.

I had no other choice but to whip out the Z5 and hope it would fill the damage, and luckily it did.

I truly enjoyed washing the truck with the ShMITT, and the Guzzler was amazing. I dried the entire truck streak-free with one Guzzler, and it wasn't even the largest size! Very impressive...

Very nice bro! Sorry about the marring. We will just use it as an example of how we shouldn't wash our rides! JOKING!!!

Love that tailgate shot again!!!

Honestly, it appears those were drying streaks, not marring.

I feel for ya' on how dirty your truck was, that sand they put down here is nasty and all this past week, I have been cleaning it off cars and trucks.

Very nice work on the truck, looks excellent in the after shots. :)

Justin : you said it, at least someone will be able to learn from my mistakes, HAH!

And yes, the sand they put down here is downright nasty. It still all over the place, so as soon as it starts raining we can start the whole party again. Gotta love it...

1. I originally thought your truck was dark blue! I had to go back after I saw the afters and confirm that it was black! Nice transformation!

2. Although I have seen plenty of pics, I just don't believe TEXAS can get that cold! It's my own stupidity, but still have a hard time comprehending it!

3. Damn nice job on that beast! :getdown

Thanks Diesel1! It's been pretty cold here lately and I think that it might last for quite a bit longer. I'm ready for the 80+ degree weather again, much better.

And thanks for the compliments, much appreciated!

Nice work man! Gotta show love to a fellow Cummins brother ;)

I will say I feel no sympathy for your 'filthy' conditions...:chuckle: These were taken today! Could somebody pass the salt please?

That is unbelievable Lightman, I really shouldn't complain! Looks like your Cummins is the twin-sister of my baby, apart from the KORE lift and wheels! Very nice looking truck!

Watch out when washing it: use that two bucket method and don't make the same mistake that I made!
