OTC Products that are better than most boutique brands?

So there have been quite a few threads about good OTC stuff. How about products that are OTC and are better than most mail order stuff regardless of price?



My votes:



Collinite IW845 - One of the few products that I've almost finished a bottle of. Durability AND protection goes on for months. IMO there is no better product for a DD. Other stuff beads as long, but this stuff stays slick and dirt just slides off.



No-Touch Original - Cleans tires with less effort and makes them more black than anything else. The shine fades off gradually, but the tires look like new for over a month.
 
Duragloss's wash is just as good or better than numerous brands which need to be ordered online.

That's on my list to try, but that reminded me of NXT Wash. Great stuff, cleans well and very slippery.

the DG wash is hands down better than the nxt wash (which still isn't a bad wash). good lubricity, smells better, cleans well, and basically one up's the nxt wash in every way. buy a gallon, you won't regret it...

Some Advance Auto stores carry it, or you can order it through them. A lot of mom and pop auto stores seem to carry Collinite. I was just in a hardware store (Trader Horn) this weekend and grabbed some 845.

I vote for Stoner's Invisible Glass. Tried it for the first time last weekend, and it worked great for me.
 
Collinite 845IW is the best product (IMO) for winter prep. Excellent durability

No Streak Glass Polish: No streaking (pardon the pun), inexpensive

TW Express Shine: IMO a very good spray wax with great durability

SprayawayGlass cleaner: no streaking, excellent value

Stoner's Speed Bead/Bead Max: very good, durable waxes.
 
This is funny because NONE of those products mentioned are available brick and mortar anywhere around here save one- Sprayway glass cleaner at HD.



I am glad however that there's one awesome product that's easy to find, and that is Meg's UC.

Our local Carquest has a big selection of DG products and NAPA has a few.

I bought S100 , a P21 wax "copy" at half the price of P21, at a local Harley-Davison custom shop.

I also bought 303 Protectant at at a local RV dealer.

These are two great products that can be found locally at brick-and-mortar stores, and even when you factor in the higher purchase price compared to buying it on-line, with no shipping cost it may actually be as cheap or cheaper for buying single items locally.
 
Meg's SwirlX and UC are both awesome, I agree.



Stoner's Invisible Glass quite simply just works great.



Mothers California Gold Carnauba Paste is a great wax, very comparable to entry level boutique waxes at a fraction of the price.



Surf City Garage Dash Away is my interior cleaner of choice.



Meguiar's NXT2 - Someone, please prove to my why Zaino is better than this stuff. Seriously.



Turtle Wax Platinum Paste - OK, this stuff isn't really out there as much anymore. But it was awesome stuff, a great blend of carnauba and polymers.



Carrand Brushes - These are actually very nice and pretty cheap, and can be found at Walmart.



Target MF Towels - Great cheap MF for those areas that don't require a super plush towel (door jambs, things like that)



Meg's Gold Class Wash - I've often referred to this as the gold standard. And it is. Awesome combo of quality, price, etc.



Eagle 1 Nano Wax Spray - Awesome booster wax, really brings out the pop in a lot of paints.



Eagle 1 A2Z Wheel Cleaner - Very good wheel cleaner. Not too strong, not too weak. Just right.



There's tons more. I'm a believer that if you tried hard you could get a full lineup OTC that works as good as boutique stuff.



A few I haven't tried but I've heard good things about:

Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Stuff - It's water based and a nice dark matte finish

Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel - This stuff is supposed to be slightly glossy, but its not water based.

303 Protectant - Supposed to be very good interior spray. Not super glossy.
