Original PC foam pad, bad quality?

How is the quality of the foam pad that came with the PC? I know we're not supposed to use it, but I'm waiting for my CMA stuff, and meanwhile I'm sitting with this pretty machine on my desk. I seem to have an uncontrollable urge to try it, it's very unnerving! :bounce



Should I force myself to wait for the other pads or could I maybe do just a little panel to try it out? :o Help!
 
Mine has been used many times with Meguiar's #9 since last October and show very little wear. After I received my Meguiar's pads, I continued to use it so as not to mess up a new Meguiar's pad. Other than having to screw it on & off, it doesn't seem all that bad.:nixweiss

Well, they are junk compaired to the CMA pads I guess is what I meant. Maybe you should try one then try the CMA's when they come and you will see what I mean.
