I guess that would depend on the size of the pad wouldn't it?
I'm going to guess with a 6.5" pad, the orbit diameter is about 7.5". You can do a test to find out though. Just put a little light polish on the pad and run it for a few seconds on the paint without moving it. Then measure the circle of polished area on the paint.
Don't run it too fast though, since you'll be sitting in one spot.

I think its 15/16ths" this is a lot compared to most polishers/sanders which are more normally 1/4". Perhaps its why the PC is so effective?

Pad throw should be the same as orbit diameter, shouldn't it?
