Orange Blast. Good or Bad?

Well i used up the last of my simple green so today i bought the big bottle of Orange Blast. I was wondering if anyone has had any negative experiences with it? It seems to be a pretty good AP cleaner.
 
I think it's crappy. It couldn't get white walls white for me full strength.



I buy the Castrol cleaner by the gallon for $5 at Pep Boys.

Well i don't want anything as strong as the Castrol stuff. I'm scared to let that stuff touch my paint :).

:nixweiss Works fine for me on white walls.

Works real good on engines too. For carpet spot cleaning and floor mats, I cut it 4:1 with water.
 
Mantic6t9, what are you wanting to clean?



Like scottwax, I've been very pleased with Orange Blast. It did a great job on the Benz engine bay which had not been touched for over 4 years. (See write up here ) Very effective, and no discoloration on metal, rubber, etc.

I'm just looking for an alternative to Simple Green. It will be used as an all purpose cleaner carpets, wheels, engines, wheel wells, parts cleaner, you name it... I used it today and it seems to have good cleaning power it's alot cheaper then Simple Green too:up
 
I also like the Orange Blast.:D

I use it for engine bay work and

as a cleaner for my stainless

exhaust tips before I polish them.

Works great for road grime.:xyxthumbs

I'm currently Orange Blast-ing. Though I might go back to Simple Green since O'Reilly's prices both the half gallon and gallon of it at $7.99. I'm getting Orange Blast at Wal-M for, I think, $3.50 for a half gallon.



I've considered other APCs, but when I change, they always work just as good. So, not a thrilling choice.
 
I got some SG this weekend from lowes in 140 oz (one gallon and 12 oz) refill bottle. for $8.99. Best so far I can find
 
No its not perfect, but its gentle and still will clean well. I feel safe using it and as “Mantic6t9� pointed out you get a little on the paint it won’t hurt it.
