Anyone tried it? Any streaking problems?

How long will it really last?

I need the absolute easiest on/off LSP product there is! Thanks!!:)

I have gone through almost an entire bottle of OCW.

In my initial testing and uses I did have some streaking issue but learned it was more about my application. Usually it any streaking had to do with humidity or over application.

I have experienced a durability of 2-3 months depending on conditions and how it was cared for.

IMO DG Aquawax is easier to apply and less finicky but lacks durability. What kind of durability are you looking for?

Thanks Troy.

I would be looking for at least 3 months for the side panels.

Top panels I will use KlasseAIO .

How do you apply it ? Spray on the car or towel first?

YW..would you like a sample of OCW?
No thanks Rsurfer, but thankyou for offering! That was nice of you!

If I hear more good things about its durability I will just buy some .

I am a little concerned about the streaking issue though as I am near the coast .

Absolutely give OCW a try. The only time I have had streaking problems is when using super plush MF towels such as the old Shamrocks.

I am not sure why, but it happened with a number of different spray waxes & detail sprays.

Switching to a less plush towel similar to the Cobra 530 took care of the problem.

I have had single applications of OCW last 4 months and was still showing some strength. Buying it buy the gallon is very economical and makes this a no brainer. As far as streaking......only mist lightly will prove both flawless finish and great durability. One of my favorite car care products........... period!

I love OCW and have never had streaking issues at all. Its a great LSP. I seem to flip flop back and forth between OCW and AW. I love them both.

Optimum Car Wax is one of the most frequently used spray waxes in my detailing arsenal. It's very easy to use and provides a shine that rivals liquid or paste waxes costing twice as much.

The old formula of several years ago did tend to streak now & then. The new one that's being sold now does not. It is easy to use too much initially until you get a feel for it but that takes all of a panel or two.

The absolute easiest on and off is Aquawax but it does not have the durability of OCW. Both look terrific.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate everyones help!:thanks

Im sold, just one more question.........

If by chance I dont like it can it double as a clay lube?

In other words Is the
consistency a thin liquid or is it thicker so it couldnt be used for a clay lube?:)

DC...

I wouldn't use OCW as a clay lube. It would be messy.

OCW is probably one of the easiest LSP's (spray) you will use.

Thanks Pat.

I spoke with AT and he said the same .

I did order a gallon but did not think to ask since its a thicker liquid do I need a special sprayer for this or will my standard sprayers work?

BTW if anyone does not know the newer version claims up to 5 months duability! Id be happy with 3 or 4 even .

Regular sprayer works fine. It's not "thick" per se, just thicker than a detail spray or waterless wash. :inspector:

Nice chatting with you on the telephone by the way! :D

I've tested the longevity on one version of ocw and found it to be in the 6 week range in Florida.

Never have I experience streaking with any formula, not sure how many upgrades have been made to this point though.
