Optimum Polish Thick and goopey??

hey guys



i was detailing my work car today, and this is my first time using both the compound and the polish by optimum



i found the polish to be initially free flowing, but it got clogged due to the substance inside being goopey - i shook the bottle, only to find that made it worse



the compound on the otherhand, continued to flow freely from the spout, regardless of me shaking it or not



do i have a bad bottle of the polish??? is this normal???



any help would be appreciated!!!
