Its great if you don't worry about cracks and crevices, however the dirt in those drives me crazy. I like using a deep pile MF sponge. It doesn't rinse that clear either, but I don't get any marrying anyway.

You should try the proline sponge. I don't worry about cracks and crevices since I don't have to with that sponge. Just use a little bit extra water and give it a light squeeze to let ONR do the work...
 
I've never been a fan of the grout sponge. This is especially true when using it with ONR. It just doesn't seem to release enough of the liquid easily enough to make washing with it very easy, as it tends to hold all the solution in the sponge.
 
For ONRing, I'm very pleased with this white synthetic sheepskin-like wash mitt that I got from WalMart. The "fibers" (or clusters of fibers) are very slick, yet they lift dust very easily. The fibers discolor permanently, but that's ok. No scratches or marring.



I like it so much better than those 15lb chenille/dreadlock mitts. They soak up way too much water IMO, and aren't as maneuverable. Plus, because of their weight and cumbersomeness, I think they apply a little too much constant pressure on the paint due to its water weight.
 
I have been happy with the microfiber covered sponge from Target. Is plenty wet on the surface and releases dirt well.
 
did my car with ONR wash for 40 minutes. after that a quick QD wipedown using ONR qd solution. the result was great as expected. slick and glossy.
 
Excuse my nubness. Can ONR be used with the conventional hose and bucket method? Or would the optimum car wash be more effective?
 
OK guys, HOW can you use this stuff, and your car doesn't get scratched? I mean, you don't even pre-rinse the car before washing it??!! Forgive my newbie-ness, but does this really work like that? You just put some in a bucket of water, use a nice mitt, and wash the car, without rinsing it off 1st? WOW! And it really doesn't scratch? Sounds AWESOME!

Yes and no, If your car is "clean" like just after rain or driving it for 3 days or so with out a lot of dirt you prob can get away with out a pre-rinse. On the other hand, do a pre-rinse and knock off as much crap as you can then go to town.

Hey, I had the same questions on here. Couldn't believe it. Now I've drunk the ONR koolaid - tastes awful but my esophagus is clean and so are my cars. :woohoo:

It really is that amazing. It works amazingly well for weekly/casual/routine/maintenance washes.



However, you won't want to ONR the car straight away if you just returned from bogging your jeep in the mud slinging, swamp bogging world championships, but for the most part, ONR fits the bill. No pre-rinses. No scratches or marring. You just have to learn the process/technique for the first couple of times you use ONR.



Took me like 7 months after hearing about it, and I refused to embrace or even try such a concept. I gave in, and am a believer now :secret.
 
When I first read about ONR or other 'waterless', no-rinse products I just laughed at what I considered a ridiculous idea. Now with winter coming, and after all the positive experiences I have read... I am going to give it a shot!
 
Gave ONR a shot today for the first time. Wow, my car wasn't very dirty, but I really like the whole process. Seems to be a great product. I especially liked using on my harley as I never really likes spraying water all over it.
 
I bought a bottle of ONR to try out about two years ago and have never really used it, just been too busy. Guess when I have nothing else better to do I'll try it out.

You've been missing out! It is great stuff. Just hope yours still works fine after sitting idle for 2 years :sosad.
