If i were to use the OP' with a PC, light Cutting pad, and then follow it with a polishing pad. should i use the same amount of liquid for both pads, procedures ?

also does the same apply to a Rotary(light cut pad , White polishing pad ) ? :help:

You should apply about a dime size amount of polish on the panel to be polished. With optimum if you have to much polish it wont work.

i tired it today with pc on a white SUV . I put a thin line across the panels & hoods., i misted some QD on the pad and began to work it at speed 4 then at speed 6 to let the abbrasives work & diminish. I then used a polishing pad with the same amount of liquid. It looked awesome. I manage to work it untill it shined. then buffed off excess with mf towel.

i think i might have used alot of liquid. But i was not concerned becasue it is a PC but with a rotary i think a Dime size is to little and i think that might cause some Marring/holograms ;)

When I use OP I put about a 4"-6" line on the panel and pick it up with the rotary, then I start to work it in, that much polish will do a very good portion of my hood, I'll usually do the 4" line and use that on half of my hood and then go do the other side.
