Yeah, it`s been a year so i just want to add more protection.
Then there is no need to reapply. Gloss coat is still on the paint. The newest formula is technically a 3 year coating.
Get yourself some ironx or ferrex and start with a decon wash. I did the same thing with my dad`s car at 5 months that has gloss coat.

Here are the steps that I did:
1. Spray ferrex onto the paint while it is dry and dirty.
2. Rinse. Have your bucket(s) and soap already mixed to avoid water spots from previously rinsing off the iron remover.
3. In a bucket I mixed my car wash soap at the proper dilution ratio and added 2 ounces of all purpose cleaner. Now I have a foam gun but it is not required. I also mixed some car wash soap and APC in the foam gun as well.
4. Proceed with your normal wash
5. Evaluate the paint to see how smooth it is. If you believe it needs to be clayed then you can proceed with this method to clay gloss coat without damaging the coating.
6. If you do not believe it needs to be clayed you could either leave it as is or get yourself some opti-seal and use that give the surface some additional protection and gloss. You could use Opti-Seal as a drying aid through the year if you wish to.
Gloss Coat needs a clean surface to bond to the paint like most coatings. It`s not like a wax or sealant where you can re-apply at any given moment. If you polish you will remove the previous application of gloss coat. If you have defects and want to touch those up then you will have to reapply in those areas that are polished.
