Optimum Compund or Polish

Background....2006 Silver VW Jetta TDI. Minor swirls and wash marring. Paint is hard, as many know. Going to be using Propel pads and a PC. Which product do you suggest?



I currently have some 106FF, but need something that will attack a little more!

Have not used OC, but OP with a PC will not remove much in way of defects with PC. More of a finishing polish in my experience.

Get the OHC, it will do the job. I use all three from Optimum but the OHC is the only one that has any amount of cutting to it. When I find OHC isn't enough I use SSR3.

So, the Hyper Compound? I was concerned it would be TOO much cut. Oh well, looks like I will be trying it!

Yeah...the OHC is a little disappointing in cut...not really sure it's any better than SSR2.5, and it smells terrible...much less dust, though, and it does finish well. I got frustrated (see my pic in another thread) and bought OHC, OC, and OP...not sure I really see any difference between OHC and OC.
