Optimum compound and PC....

I've used it with a PC only. I've been extremely happy with the results - in most cases I find you could go right from the compound to an LSP, but I usually follow with OCP. I actually find I'm using OCC more than OCP now because it's slightly more aggressive and leaves a really nice finish too. My pictures aren't the best examples, but I know Scottwax uses OCC with a PC also, and has had some amazing results. He did a (iirc) benz with some really nasty scratches on the hood awhile back, I remember commenting that OCC took out the marring. I am sure if you search you could find that post, or maybe he will chime in.

Heh I did my buddy's Black Type-S yesterday with OCC and OCP using Meg's Cutting and polishing pads via PC; Nighthawk Black Pearl never looked so good :).

Yes, it did finish that nicely on black. I've talked to David from Optimum and he feels the Compound works better via PC than rotary. In addition, he is working on a PC specific compound (at the request of GM) to meet their needs for buffing on the line using Dynabrade polishers (air powered DA buffers) so there is a chance there will be an even better version down the road. :)

I was very happy with them. It's removed everything I've asked it to so far and finishes nicely. On that civic above I could have gone right to an LSP after OCC but finished with OCP on a polishing pad anyway. Or you can click my sig link and see the results on my car.
 
I'm pretty positive the answer is no, but Anthony O or scottwax will know for sure. I've not noticed any filling ability after my ISA wipedown.
