i cant deal with the smell of this stuff .i dont know if i got a bad batch or what but it smells nasty. i have to return it right away

there interior protectent. it smells awefull i dont know if i got a bad batch or what. but i have to return it .its unbarable let me tell you

I've never used their interior protectorant, but not all products smell good.
Some have a harsh chemical smell.

Give Optimum a call to see if it is a bad batch. I don't know how many people use it but it doesn't look like many from the two threads you started. I haven't used it but I sure would like something that smells good in my car. If it isn't a bad batch maybe you could suggest them coming out with one that has a different scent to it.

just got of the phone with autogeek. and told them about it they said its totoly normal and will go away in a few minutes.so i went out side to smell the inside of the truck .and yes its gone so im going to keep it.they said its the uv in the stuff that gives it that odor

So i just detailed the inside of my dads car. I havent ever used the optiumum dressing until today. I dont think it smells that bad, its not a plesent smell. I actully thought it smelt exaclty like 303 areo space protectant. Many people use that. Its not pleasent but its not as bad as you make it.

And for those who use 303, the Optimum stuff smelt, look, felt, the same as 303. I honslty could not tell the difference. I think I might be switching to optimum, depedning on price.. it wont let me acces AG right now, stupid shaw cable

i use 303, the smell isnt that bad at all to me, it works so well!

If you want a good smelling cleaner/protectant grab some DP Interior Cleaner and DP Interior Protectant, it's like bannanas. Otherwise, Optimum may not smell the best, but it sure is a great all-in-one interior product since it cleans and protects.

thanks guys for the input. im going to keep optimum.not crazy about the smell at first but the good thing is it doesnt last. and its a great dressing.
