Opticoat Tool Question

Got my Opticoat 2.0 box opened up last night. Had a cobra towel and a foam applicator in it. Thought about how 'permanent' the coating is and started to wonder about those two items. Can they be used again after I used them for applying the Opticoat? If so, how do I clean/care for them?

TIA,

Tony

Just soak/wash the applicator and/or towel immediately after use and all is well. If you are going to apply in stages you will have to wash/dry the applicator between uses.

Thanks Chris. Just the answer I was looking for because I was going to do as much I could doing one panel all the way through in stages.

Any problem washing the towels with other ones after having with the Opticoat?

I can attest that MF towels can be washed and reused.

Just for the fear of permanently locking in any stain or 'dirt' that gets picked up by the applicator over time, I start with a new one for each job.

I keep a bucket of soapy water near for the towels as I go, or I just toss them. I always just toss the applicators as they are cheap anyway.
