Is Opti-Glass only useful on the windshield or can it (should it) be used on the rear (heated) and passenger windows.

Works great. Just follow the instructions and make sure the surface is as clean as you ever want it to be.

I have had it on the windshield of my car over a year and it is holding up great.

So far I only use it on my windshield, but only because I have not taken the time to strip the other stuff on my side & rear windows and apply the coating.

I find that Rain-X & other sealants work great and last a long time open these other surfaces due to less friction to wear them off. I gotta use up my Rain-X some how.

Great. Will get to this first to Break in nanoskin pad.

Wonder if this works against ice in the winter - less adhesion by ice and snow.

I had it on all winter and we had a metric ton of snow. It worked great. Not that sure about adhesion cold but one the windshield warmed up it slid right off.

I have it on all exterior glass including the panoramic roof :)
DO NOT use the little yellow applicator supplied with it! IMO those applicators are not good for any coating.. better options are Optimum dual pro applicator or CQ block & suede cloth.

I'm also in Toronto and applied Opti-glass last summer. Over last winter I did not find much difference in ice forming on my windshield compared to an uncoated windshield. But the water beading is still there today so it definitely holds up to its durability claims

Looking forward to it. Have panaroofs on both our vehicles.

When you did the side windows, did you roll them down a bit to get the top edge, or treat with the windows closed?

Bumping my Q: When you did the side windows, did you roll them down a bit to get the top edge, or treat with the windows closed?

My guess is coat them in full up position.
