My theory is that the reason people don't talk about AIO needing to cure is because it doesn't need to cure. Perhaps the formula has changed since it was used as a single step product. AIO is not new, after all. Its been around longer than I have. Its not beyond reason that it has been changed to be more of a cleaner and SG is the sealant part now.
I don't think its a matter of packaging. AIO and SG are always sold seperately but are often grouped together for a kit price. SG is harder to use than UPP for me so I generally use UPP instead. I save the SG for my own cars for use in the winter. I do have a couple customers who are die hard Klasse fans and only want AIO and SG on their cars, but most people don't mind me mixing product. AIO is a great base and an awesome cleaner. I just haven't seen the durability I would expect out of a real sealant when using it all by itself. It doesn't layer, its not as durable, it doesn't look as good.... There just doesn't seem to be any advantage of using it by itself unless I'm missing something.
