Opinions on a new T-shirt design...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
It's been a while since I've posted on here. My side biz has kept me slammed beyond belief lately. Not sure where all the work is coming from, but I'm gonna take it while I can. I'll try to share some of the latest work I've been doing soon.

Well...I still have bunches of my TMoore 'truck' T-shirts left for sale...but I need some new swag to wear to the SEMA show in November...right? Being a big fan of old Willys...that's what I decided to go with on this one.

I went about this design a little different than my usual illustration style...tried to keep it more simplistic and clean. No gradients...nothing fancy, just bold, clean line-work and I skewed my logo to fit around the design.

Whadda ya think? Which one do you like the best?

This would be a 1-color design on a black T...

this is 2-color...

and this is 3-color...

And then there's an option for white T's...

Any comments and/or critiques are certainly welcome.

I really like you car and logo and maybe it's just me but the car over powers the logo with it's size. My eye is drawn to the car first.

If your eye is drawn to the car first, that's good. That's what I want. While I want to promote my biz, I really want people to like the shirt for the car.

Thanks!

I really like the tan/orange, but the blue is my favorite I think. Blue has always been a favorite color of mine and it still ties with my all blue website theme.

I'm still undecided...but blue/gray is probably what I'll end up going with.

The two color does it for me. The eye is initially drawn to the car but the business name is easily read which is the whole idea.

Definitely liking both the blue and the orange, but I agree with the blue being the best of the bunch. The blue/orange look very similar to the colors we used for my logo, in fact!

The version for white t-shirts is great. The blue "pops" the most against black, but the outline on the top portion of the car is a bit distracting for me. Do you have a version without the color outline, but keep the colored shadow underneath and place your website signature inside the colored area?

Personal opinion. I like the 1st one with one color the best. It is a great design that will look great on any color of shirt.

interesting observation paul & i agree with you. i think the logo would be better if the name was on top of the car, instead of on the bottom.
