I had time today to perform operation `Gold Finger` in its entirety. Huge thanks out again to Ron!
I messed around with this a few weeks back...and it will turn your hands and fingers gold!! Like in the movie Goldmember: "I love Gooooooooold!"
The Carrera is coated. I wanted to see how this PA product would perform as a topper as well as a gloss enhancer. I am curious to see it`s dust repellency as well as longevity.
Shake it up well prior to use! Watch out for PA`s sprayers...they are not the best and tend to leak! I sprayed it directly onto the surface and wiped with a gold plush MF towel. (I had to use a Gold Plush to keep with the `gold` theme here!)
It has a somewhat thick consistency and will cover a decent sized area. It spreads evenly. It will streak a little if you are heavy handed (like me) with it. Flip the towel and it wiped right off.
I think it gave the shop car some added gloss. I can`t wait to see what it looks like tomorrow-Ron says that it looks even better the next day-and I am looking forward to seeing some of the metallic in the paint really pop! If the weather cooperates, I may even be able to pull it outside for some sun shots.
