Ihad paint and overspray on my 2007 Silverados plastic mirrors. I used sprayway wipes cleaner for road paint removal on them. They are now all streaked and gey colored, I used Mothers back to black, |Black again gel (not the dye) and no luck. Any suggestions on what to do?:scared:

When you used Sprayway Wipes (not familar with the product) did you notice any of the color from the mirrors bleeding off onto the wipe?

No I didnt see it on the wipe but it turned the mirror a milky white color and I immediately washed it off with car wash soap and a good rinse. Heres a link to the product. http://www.topoftheline.com/sprayinwip.html

It didn't say anything about using them on plastic to remove overspray, just painted surfaces. I think its way to strong for the application you use it for.

for max durability of BW be sure to pre-clean the surface with APC first.
