3 mf chennile mitts.

how are these dreadlock style MF mitts? They good for ONR and regular washes? I always see these around OTC. They do not cause marring even on a black car?

i use a mf covered sponge (dog bone shaped).

Same here. $2 at Big Lots. Very soft and they hold up well. I have a couple that are nearly a year old now and they show no signs of splitting at the seams like every single chenille covered foam pad I've ever had has done...and often, within a matter of weeks.

Was using the Lowe's GS but changed to MF covered sponge. GS just did not hold enough water for my taste. Too much dipping back and forth.

After trying a number of diffent methods I settled on using these mitts Mitts the pile is deep enough to pull the dirt away from the finish, but they release well in the ONR bucket. Use 2 or 3 per wash. In the winter I presoak the car with the standard ONR wash mix and a pump sprayer and use 2 buckets, but I put ONR in the rinse bucket as well. Dirt seems to release from mitt better.

I've been using the Neatitems mitts for the last year or so and love them.

Quick sideline, with no intention to hijack: could one of you great folks on this thread, who seem to be very experienced in ONR, help guide me to a good "how to use ONR" thread. Last winter was the first winter with my new BMW and I washed it outside as much as possible, but mostly froze my butt off. ONR sounds great in that I can do it in a heated garage, but I want to make sure I use the right equipment and procedure (the mgf recommendations don't always match the real world way of doing things, right?)

Again, I don't want to hijack this thread, so to avoid that, please PM me.

Thanks.

Jim
