ONR - is one cap = 1oz?

It is foolish of me to speculate, but I will anyway.

Which "cap" are you talking about?

I have the gallon-size (128oz) ONR, and my guess is like 5+ caps= 1oz. The gallon size cap is very shallow.

I've been measuring my ONR with a Glass Pyrex Measuring thing.

What I need to do is pick up a measuring cup from WallyWorld, but I keep forgetting to :nervous:.

Im guessing hes using the bottle style, which is deeper.

Hahaha I have been doing the same thing. Then my mom was looking for her measuring cup...:nervous:

When in doubt.......

(available at your local spirits retailer for about $1 or $2 :xyxthumbs: )

Honestly I use this for ONR wash, clay lube and QD dilutions and its dead on. Of course I have a seperate one for the home bar ;).

I honestly prefer the 2oz Oxo angled cup (OXO Mini Angled Measuring Cup - Nordic Ware Bakeware - Collections - Sur La Table), as for quite a few things I need 2oz of measuring. Not too much of a difference.

I'm actually going to look for the same thing in a 2-cup for about $10, to measure the water I need.

I think all of you are trying way to hard at this. I have the plastic cap from one of those cold medicine bottles. It lists from one teaspoon to one ounce. It's quite handy and I didn't technically have to buy it... It was a two for one :D

A question plus 16 prior responses to a question about how to measure a "fluid ounce".

Amazing! :)

Let's pray we don't venture into experimental fluid dynamics and have to mess with Bernoulli's principle!! LOL :)

See ya. :wavey

Actually, I think you are trying way "to" soft. "Too". :up

Great recommendation with the Robitussin cup, though! I will rummage through the medicine for one. If only they made them more crunch-proof...
