Haven't been using deionzed water. Water here is slightly on the hard side. I'm not too worried about leaving anything behind, more that I seem to be drying too quickly with the first pass with the MF towel.

I use the Target orange MF towel for the first wipe, then a nice soft ww for the second wipe. Leaves the surface nice and dry. Typically, I'll have to wring out the MF towel once per car and the WW towel is just damp.

Is that the striped one that also comes in blue?

I've got a real nice 16 x 16 530 gram MF towel (actually, I have 30 of them!) I get from my Optimum distributor for the first drying pass and the orange Target Vroom towels for the second drying pass.

Sorry to bump this, but I was wondering if there was a test or any feedback on the striped one's from target?

I've used them for multi purpose, wanted to know if anyone uses them for paint.

you could do a cd test with it to find out if you would use it on your paint.
