Keep it clean !!!
If you were restricted to only 19 products and equipment to use (unlimited quantities) for detailing cars for the rest of your life what would they be?
I believe that most cars can be detailed with this bare bones list...
My list...
1. Wet/dry Vac (more hp and lift the better)
2. Dewalt 849 buffer (industry standard)
3. Hi temps Heavy Cut Leveler (I love the cutting ability of this product)
4. Optimum Polish (Combine with #3 WOW !!!)
5. Meguiars All Purpose cleaner (dilute to your task)
6. Edge Green Light Cut Foam Pads (Most versatile, use for everything)
7. Yellow wool pads (Schlegel PC 375 will cut well with #3)
8. Spray Away glass cleaner (Could be excluded but I prefer not to)
9. Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant (Great product and easy to use)
10. 3M Finesse-It Finishing Glaze (The best final finish)
11. Stoners Trim Shine (Water based aerosal, spray where ever you want)
12. Stoner MSLT for tires (20 second a tire)
13. Air Compressor (How can you live without)
14. Microfiber Towels (enough said)
15. 3 Brushes (firm, medium and soft)
16. Pressure washer ( 1500-3000 psi)
17. 0000 Steel wool
18. Wash Shampoo
19. Clay bar.
I would love to add a Carnubu Paste wax, but I am trying to go bare bones. I know am leaving out a leather conditioner also, but I want a true bare bones list. I would love to add some metal polishes, but I am sure that a combination of 3&4 if used correctly can cover this area.
Can you come up with less items...
Water based dressings will give you a start...
Good Luck!!!
