Actually, I was looking for somethig cheaper (like Porter Cable, by the way, os there any chance to find it in Europe?, or Vector, or something cheaper that is everwhere on USA online stores)
Shipping is always going to be expensive but as for the electricity, I am not sure what voltages you have but here in the UK we have 240v and therefore I use a step down transformer.
The equivalent of the PC, the Flex X1107VE is more pricey. Here in Hungary it costs about US$380-400. Basically every tool is pricier here in our former East-Block than in the US.
Alternatively, buy a cheaper dual action (orbital, eccentric) sander. They will do the work. What you need is at least a 300W motor and a sufficient pad throw; no less than 4 mm.
