One Step Suggetsions?

66 has more cutting ability than 151?

No way, but its loaded with oils and makes really old, faded, and what most autopians would consider "dead", paint look great. Left alone, the looks will fade in a few washes, seal those oils in with some 845IW and you have a car that looks great for a while.

It's nice to see that D151 is still being talked about. Haven't taken the plunge yet with it only because it seems that 50% of the reviews are great and the other 50% are so so.

I think you have to keep a lot of stuff on this forum in context. Its a great one stepper, but you have poeple expecting too much out of it. Like many of megs products, it works very well with its intended applications. The sample size from ADS is so cheap, its a no-brainer.

i thought ZAIO was just a sealant with a minor cleaning agent?

It has some small abrasive quality. Some have compared it as about 1/4 the cut of ZPC. If you really want to get it to come alive use it with a rotary.

^ I have a gallon that I picked up at a great price, but after using it some, or Poli-seal (the only two I have significant experience with) for that matter, I kind of find AIOs pointless. They don't give as much correction along with finishing ability as regular polishes do. Plus, I don't leave them as the only lsp anyway. I have to go over them with a dedicated sealant or wax. It simply defeats the purpose, imo.

For me, if someone is paying for a 1 step, I want to provide the best possible amount of correction and those two AIOs simply don't cut it, hehe.

Menzerna polishes for 1 steps FTW! Just find the right polish/pad combo. Now, they just have to work on their prices!:faint:

For a 1-step using a PC, I have found nothing better than Menzerna Power Finish (PO203S) using a 5.5 inch orange pad.

Ill second this. Amazing results on a properly clayed surface.

I also make a "mix" of Poli-Seal, Optimum Compound, Optimim Instant Detailer, and Opti-seal that works like a charm.

D151 hasn't really worked for me.
