violentveedub: it only comes with the DSG. You shift it yourself, sort of, but there's no clutch pedal. I like these, but after five VW's my next car will be rear drive, with a straight six. And a clutch pedal.

BMW 3 Series?

Yup. E46 ZHP coupe or E92, dark blue or black, with a tan leather interior. Not till my VW reaches 200K which should be about two years.

The debate on whither or not DSG is an auto or not is one that won't ever die. If you have a DSG tranny then there is an "auto" selection and you don't touch anything. Hence - Auto transmission, IMHO. I personally think paddles are for video games and F1 cars, I like my clutch pedal!
