One Grand Blitz Wax

On a side note, Blitz also has the Queen of England's royal approval

With the state of the royal family these days, that ain't saying much :usa ;)

I have enjoyed using Blitz over the years but must confess I complained here about stain trim. After it rains, I notice white haze on my rubber trim and mud flaps.

So I use it as a top coat on the hood roof and trunk, away from any trim.

I liken it to a more durable P21s with the same ease of use.

If you've been thinking about it, try it out!

I will echo the comments above.

The trim staining and lack therof from P21S makes me put P21S to the head of the class.

Blitz is probably more durable but you need to be soooooo careful.

The staining is why I don't use it anymore. It's a real problem. Plus, P21S is more fun to apply, much softer feeling and IMHO easier to remove.

whoops! This is the wrong thread!! However, I'd like to amend my previous statement. There is noticeably more salt on the wiper and cowl below the windshield on the #16 side, and there is salt all over the passenger side outside mirror, and none on the driver's side. These weren't waxed or anything. I guess somehow the car encountered a lot of salt only on one side of the car... :nixweiss

Rob, that's what I was thinking too, except #16 is very beady and tight. It stays really clean in the rain, so I'm curious how the two compare in this regard.

That is interesting, but both should have held up this long with ease. I would expect, with your car garaged at night, that it will take a number of weeks before you notice them breaking down. Also, I know that OG likes their Wash N' Wax used with Blitz, but I would think any non-stripping shampoo would do. Wash N' Wax is a low foaming shampoo-some don't like it for this reason. I am waiting to be listed as a vendor under the review section so that I can have some of you review their stull.

I would say P21S is slightly easier to remove, but it only lasts half to 1/3 as long, and of course costs much more per ounce.

I washed the Regal off today. It was really salty and sandy from all the crud they put on the roads. Sand was really built up under the car... :o

Anyway, the Blitz seemed to be doing ok, though it was not beading very strongly. It did feel/look like there was still wax on, but like it's at that point where you probably want to re-wax lest the protection vanish. So, it did pretty well making it through the winter. I guess that's a bit over 8 crappy wintery weeks, and it wasn't done yet. I hit the car with EO WAUD while drying, so it should definitely be good for a couple weeks until I wax it again. :)

Glad to hear that you had great results with Blitz! Your testimony proves once again how much of a great wax it really is.

So what happened to the final results of the 1/2 Blitz, 1/2 #16 test on the Nissan?!?:nixweiss

Though the #16 will be discontinued, any last comments on their performance?:sadpace:
