Looks like a great belt!
Or two...at least. But I think I`ll just let him be; I`d hate to come back as a snake in the next life...karma and all. Ya never know!
Now that`s funny! But I would find it hard/freaky to see a snake hiding out anywhere in my yard.
BudgetPlan1- Hey, cool! thanks for sharing that. My wife and I are big fans of beneficial snakes![]()
We never get Rat Snakes though, only Garters, which we occasionally have to grab and relocate when they get into the garages. Also have to check our overhead doors so we don`t run over them, the sun-warmed doors seem to appeal to them.
A while back we developed a mole problem in our yard. We had just gotten to the point where we were about ready to call in Bill Murray and then a black rat snake like the one in your picture showed up. The mole problem just sort of disappeared after that. I startled that one once and it actually "jumped" (launched itself?) onto the lowest branch of a tree in the back yard and then slithered its way all the way to the top.Yep...black rat snake, we get them from time to time. They`re constrictors, non-poisonous and actually kinda beneficial to have around, pest-wise.
That’s a big one! My wife would die if she saw that one. She is terrified of any kind of snake. I’m the type if they don’t bother me, I won’t bother them! The warm (hot) weather is bringing out the rattlesnakes around here. Lots of dead ones on the roads.
