At work we got in a few trucks purchased from a cable tv company. that were covered in lettering so we needed to remove it. All vinyl stickers real Bi$%h to get off. So the owner here came up with a new way to remove them....
1. Get propane torch
2. Torch outside of sticker until it bubbles
3. Use plastic scraper to scrape the crap out of it till the vinyl comes off
4. This leaves a massive mess of smeared glue and plastic
5. Use denatured alcohol to remove the mess.
Worked like a champ.. I figure within 2 - 3 months the paint should all be bubbling and flaking off. Told him it was a bad idea many time before we did it but what ya gonna do??

And this guy is someones boss ???!!!!!
