OMG...So Mad!!!

I went to a party this weekend and the wierdest thing happened to my car while I was there. Some drunk idiot decided it would be funny to take a can of Axe (body spray) and a lighter to make some shooting flame balls. The problem is once he saw me in my car (looking for a CD) he thought it would be funny to shoot this flameball at my windshield. I now have a discolored spot on the windshield that I can not get out. Any suggestions? I'm sooo pissed right now. :angry

Check out www.detailersparadise.com . They have a kit for glass polishing glass. I haven't heard any stories about it or used it myself, so I can't comment on its effectiveness or personality.

I'd go for Zaino Z-12, personally. It's always done a good job for me.

This doesn't sound like it could be too hard to remove, as long as it's on the outside and it isn't that the laminated plastic layer in the windshield got hot and damaged. You should be able to get some OTC glass polish at Poop Boys or AutoZone or something. Eagle One, etc., and that should do it, I would think. Heck, you should be able to use a mild paint polish or glaze, for that matter.

I was doing some searching and totally forgot about steel wool. Stupid me. I'm going to give that a try as well as some glass polish and see what it does. I'll keep you guys updated.
