Old red paint turning pink, help! *pics*

Just ordered a microfiber kit from pakshack and Claymagic Clay Bar/Klasse AIO. Have NXT sitting next to me.

Hopefully this fade goes away!

I just did a major rejuvenation of a red Toyota for a cousin -- had seriously oxidized red->dark orange paint and hadn't been washed in a couple of years. I chose to try Klasse AIO, and it worked relatively well at changing orange back to red. I wanted to try AIO for the first time, and given my good experience I second the other suggestions for AIO.

I have a full complement of 1z polishes (1z UP, PP, MP) but a full abrasive polish routine would have worked somewhat better but taken much more time. As is, her first comments were -- "I can't believe how shiny it is" and "what can I do about those [rock] chips I didn't notice before?".

I own a 1991 Honda CRX. It's red, and one area is fading pink. I'd really like to get this car shining again, if possible.

I have a 92 Civic HB with a similar problem. It looks like you have panels that are fading pink, I have strange pink lines on the roof of my car. The car has already been clayed, and I've used #9, #7, Menz FP and VM on it. I may try Megs. Diamond Cut or SSR3 next. Not sure if it's oxidation or some strange happening with the paint.

Check coastaltool.com for a PC. theyre like $120 and the exact same thing as a Megs, plus you get a bigger counterweight and pad, (6in weight and 5 in pad seems to work really well). For the PC, a few towels and supplies, you'll prolly end up with about $250-300 in stuff.

On yeah, meg's medalian premium paint cleaner is supposed to work well on that kidna stuff. Never tried it, ive always used #9 and been satisfied, but from what i hear its really good.
