OK to dust with a dry MF?

I dont want to mar the finish at all

If you do it in a light sweeping fashion rather than placing your palm over the towel and wiping, I don't see how it could be any more marr inflicting than a california cae duster would.

Regardless of how light you do it I would imagine that over time it will cause some marring.

I would say no way. Even if you are lightly "dusting" your car's surface, you are still rubbing the dust across your paints surface with no lubrication. Take the 30 minutes and give your car a quick wash/dry!

sounds like S&W time to me. Even using S&W one can marr the surface if improper technique is employed. A dry MF towel....No way!!

Hold 2 corners and gently pull across the surface with no pressure. The dust should stick to the mf without scratching.
