OK, enough already

I am giving in to the hype, and placing an order for some Blackfire WD.

I am in need of a glass polishing kit (which I am also ordering), and figured I might as well try "this Blackfire stuff" too.

I thought it was hype also. If you still think it's hype after you try it, I'd be suprised. It change my mind!

No hype, the stuff straight up rocks. I did a quick outside detail on a black honda ridgeline today. Every sealant I tried was streaking, I think it was due to the sun. First I tried Insulator wax, it was streaking. Next up it was opti-seal and it was leaving some strange hazing. I grabbed the wet diamond and tossed some on a gold pad on the PC and it came out flawless.

Even though Blackfire recommends not to apply in direct sunlight, I've done it numerous times and NO STREAKING, no problems.

I wish this stuff had been around in the 80's when I was scraping the crusty white Turtle Wax out of the cracks and crevices of my Black Monte Carlo!:rofl::rofl:

Well tomorrow I will be using WD for the first time on a 197X (?) Oldsmobile Omega. This car is a beast...it has a 455 V8 that's been punched out to a 462. It is burgundy with white racing stripes.

I'll take some pics, and post my opinion.

OK, I used WD today on my friend's Oldsmobile Omega. I first polished the car with M86, PC, Orange LC 5.5" pad using the KBM. The car was then LSP ready, so I switched to a Red LC pad, and applied the WD with the PC. My buddy was amazed, because I applied wax to that whole car with the PC in about 5 minutes. We let it haze while he adjusted the carburetor on my VW, then removed the WD. We were both very happy with the ease of removal, as well as the look. I will say it equaled Zaino in terms of looks. I'll have to wait and see how the durability is.

I'll get pics up as soon as I get a chance to download them from my camera.
