Oil-eating Microbe Cleaners

My experience with Chomp oil-eating microbe cleaner leads me to suspect that it is snake oil quackery. You're supposed to scrub and wait for it to work when you want to remove tough scuz. Shoot, I could do that with plain water. Maybe it IS water. I would rather spend my money on Castrol Super Clean. Pretty good at taking bugs off a bumper. At least I know it works enough to eat my skin.
