Some of you may have seen my other post about a car that had been that had been horribly neglected, as well as washed with hard green scurbies and orange clean. The car had swirls that were visible from 60 feet away (I am serious. I measured it). I have never used my PC before. I figured that this would be a good first car becuase if I messed up it wouldn't really matter. OH MY GOD the results are stunning. Anyone who says you can't remove swirls with a PC is a liar or has never tried.

Here is the process I used:
1) Washed with GC
2) Clayed with mother's (coolest thing ever... I could hear it)
3) PC + FI-II (FI-II is a great product)
4) PC + GEPC
5) P21S

Easy Big Kev...swirl mark removal advice is purely subjective as no one can tell you the "right" method without seeing the damage first hand; a picture over the net will not do it. Moreover, I suggested the rotary as the picture you first presented had the sun at an ideal angle displaying the swirls. I could only speculate at the depth and severity of the swirls. In all fairness, if the swirls are bad enough, a rotary is warranted. If they are more superficial, then the PC will do just fine! I have used a rotary for over 12 years, and have owned the PC since the first day it came out. I do not think anyone is a "liar" if they say that a PC will not take out swirls; it depends on how severe! I think many of us that responded to your original post suggested that the PC could be used but may take a long time to get the swirls out. Again, purely subjective!
The car looks great! Please post more pictures when you can get the sun at the same angle as the "before" pictures! The PC can do amazing things but it can not do everything a rotary can as it just does not heat up the paint the same. That is why the PC is so safe to use! :up

I would try 3m Finesse it with a rotory to try and remove those scratches. If that doesn't work use the perfect-it compound then the finesse followed by what ever glaze and topper you like. 3m finesse is specifically designed to remove scratches when used with a rotory.
I am not really knocking PC's just pointing out they are not able to get those type of scratches out. They are great for applying glazes and waxes though.

I know alot of newbies (like myself) frequent this board and I want them to know that a PC is a highly effective tool.... not nearly as effective as a rotary in the hands of someone who is trained to use them.
The PC is an awesome machine. It combines the benefits of a rotary with the safety of a DA.
The rotary is a real beast. It can do amazing things but can also do alot of damage! Often, I will use the PC to get the buffer marks out I put in with the rotary!! I think that it (the PC) is a tool that every serious detailer should own!! Just IMHO!!
It is really nice to see such an improvement when someone posts before and after pics.
With patience, effort and the proper tools, our cars can truly be transformed into the "shiny next level" we want them to be! GEPC and P21S work great as the final knock out punch!
I will try and get some pictures in the sun from the same angle. There are some swrils still visible but I would say they were reduced by about 90 -95 % which is about 100,000 times better then I thought I would get. So all and all I'm happy.

I have a question for all you P21S users. Yesterday the car looked good after I finished but today when I left for work it looked 10 times better. Is that normal for this wax? I think I remember reading that P21S looks it's best 1- 2 days after it is applied but I didn't think it would be that dramatic.
The reason i asked was because I dont have a garage neither so im assuming it's safe to used a pc with polish outside the garage.Were you in direct sunlight when you detailed/pc it?
