tomorrow we head off to Lime Rock park for the vintage racing festival again :yay ..I love this event as we get to see some of the rarest race cars ever built back on the track, and this year's feature car is Ferrari, so we will get to see some of the oldest and rarest Ferrari's ever built racing :bigups ... I always look forward to seeing the 3 wheeled Morgan race cars, the Bugattis, Porsches, and Stutsbearcat too:cool:
Sunday they have a concourse show with some of the most awesome vehicles left in the world, last year's Peugot was one of most interesting I've ever seen.
We hope to see some of you Northeasterner's there..I know we'll see Ronkh there :howdy

Is there anything worthwhile on Friday? Or just Sat and Sun.?

Friday is the preliminary races ... just most of the guys getting the kinks out of their cars and people checking out the cars in the paddocks :)

Enjoy the races Steve and Ronkh!:rockon

Most of my time will be spent looking at the cars and hanging around Steve's area.

Wonder how much stuff I'm gonna come home with this year ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??! :dnaughty
(last year Pockets had to help me carry it to the car)

Maybe this year, Steve might help you out too!:notme: Enjoy the Races and your time with Poorboy's.:bigups

Besides the stuff I need for my son to take back to school, would you rather I ordered the rest of the stuff online?

Steve,

Have you been up there since they repaved the track? It's great! Even spectator areas are new and closer to the track areas. Skip left no stone unturned this time.

I was up there for ALMS and what a race! :bigups

Going out on that new paved track is quite different since the last times I tracked the car. Much smoother, better turns and transitions. Bus stop is still tight, big bend is much better as well.

If I wasn't rolling out a new Target store in Trumbull, I'd love to be there. That's a great event with all those vintage cars, damn it's really fantastic!:bow:drool:

One of these days you'll have to see the Porsche in person. I got tired of the Lexus SC430 being way too soft and heavy. Nice car for around town and not too long drives as I hated the way it tracked on the highway. In truck traveled lanes, the car would hunt and after say an hour of driving, you feel you just finished an ALMS race fighting the cars action.

Have fun up at the Rock and take many pictures if you can!
