Odd things I have noticed.......

I have noticed some rather odd peculiarities when it comes to my customers. I was wondering if the pros here have experienced that same or have some of their own "oddities" to express here regarding clients.



1) Some of my richest clients have some of the crapiest water hoses at their homes. They either have holes in them or they are too short, cut off at the end or kink up real easy. $400, 000 home and a $5 hose:nixweiss What's up with that?



2) Most of my women clients I have noticed prefer shiny tires over the male clients I have. They actually request for their tires to be "glossy". Any others notice this also?



Lastly....the reason this cam eup is because I am bored stiff!!! I have not worked but one day this week an donly 3 days last week. We have a forecast of rain through Saturday and I am freakin out. The picture below is what our South Texas skies have looked like for days now. OK, enough whinning.

Anthony-my richest client not only has very nice hoses, but a water deionizer tank and a pressure sprayer!



With QEW, it really doesn't matter to me what their hose looks like.



I haven't noticed the 'shiny' tire phenomenom with my female customers. Must be a San Antonio thing.



The weather has been beautiful here up until today.
 
On the same car,men will comment on how good the exterior looks and women comment on how clean the interior is. Yet women usually trash the interior more than the men, and men clean the trash out, but dont wash the outside when its filthy.

LOL, I've noticed that too. I don't think most women have even commented on the exterior for me.



And one guy was more concerned with the etching from the bugs than all the paint I removee from his leather.
 
Yeah I have noticed that the majority of women pay more attention to the interior also, especially if a scent is added. They dig that.



I used to use a "bubble gum" scent for the ladies and they all loved it, I personally hated it.



My male clients are picky about clean wheels and tail pipes!

Most cars I do are majority of females. I can spend 3 1/2 hrs. detailing the exterior of a car and 1 minute to spray on a tire shine. The first thing they comment on is how nice and shiney the tires look.



I used a Vanilla scent in a lady's Accord once and she loved it. But her husband HATED it. He hated it so much that he asked her never to call me again. But she persuaded him to change his mind. Since then I've never used interior scents, even if they ask.



I had a neighbor once ask me to refill a bottle of Final Detail and she was willing to pay me as much as $12 for it. I refilled it for free :p and told her huband where he could buy it. All the while she kept saying how much she loved the smell of it.
