Odd question about wax...

Hey everyone,

Here is the situation: I ordered some FK 1000p high temp wax and had it sent to a friend's house where we'd be using it. I planned on it taking a week to get there, but arrived in 1 day (ground shipping, didn't realize the place was literally right next door him). Anyway, his place is about 200 miles from me, and its just sitting in a box in about 45 degree weather and rain. My friend will be out of town until Sunday and doesn't know his neighbors well enough to call and store it.

Will the temperature (and the rain) ruin the wax? I assume its just sitting on his doorstep and I know most bottles say to store at room temperature. I won't be able to get it for about 4 days.

Your fine. Pastes are much more tolerable of cold temps then liquids. And I doubt it will suffer any water intrusion.....

agreed, as long as it's not sitting in some snow LOL...

Yeah, I had a rogue can of 476s hiding in my shed that I forgot about for 3 years; just found and used it a couple weeks ago......everything is fine with it.

As long as it doesn't freeze you should be fine. Most paste waxes will even take that without issue as well.
