Here in OK, I have run into nothing but problems with water beading on paint, and then immediate sunlight afterwards.
Same thing here in Houston. I like the look of beading, but it's really not a practical thing. We get the same blazing summer sun right after a quick downpour, and that can lead to some awful water spotting if not acid etching on the paint. A wax with a nice sheeting effect would be nice.
