NXT Streaking

I just used NXT... After I finished I use some Poorboys Spray and Gloss to wipe off the dust and to help remove the wax from in the cracks....To my surprise the Spray and Gloss streaked....What would have caused the Poorboys to streak on a fresh coat of NXT?

NXT, like any polymer sealant should be kept dry for 12-24 hours after application to let it crosslink. I suspect you may have compromised the sealant. I'd try applying another thin coat of NXT, make sure it passes the swipe test before removal and let it set for a day before doing anything else to the surface.

what if i were to apply a different sealant?

Polymer sealants are not cured when you buff off the haze. They take several hours to setup. Until they have hardened or cured they are easily compromised. This applies to any sealant. You might have noticed that sealants seem to look better the day after you applied them. That's the nature of a sealant.

To remedy your streaks apply the sealant again and remove it as before but hold off on using any QD or getting it wet for 12-24 hours. Be sure to apply your sealant very thinly and that it has set long enough to pass the swipe test. Remove with plush microfibers. IF you do use a QD the next day be sure to buff with a clean plush MF.

I wouldn't mix different sealants. Most won't be compatible with one another.
