NXT Spray Wax

I was down in the basement earlier prepping my 300zx for an upcoming car show next weekend. Earlier I had put on a coat of S100. I look over on my product shelf and see a bottle of Meguiars new NXT Spray Wax.

So I say what heck I will give a try on a panel or two for kicks.

Well I must say that this product really made the red on my Z "pop". :bow It seemed to improve the clarity of the finish.

I have never been one for spray waxes but I must say as a quick over the counter wax product its really great and leaves a great shine.

I had no issues removing it at all. The finish was waxed about 4 hrs prior with S100.

I applied with a foam app, allowed to haze, and buffed off with a Pakshak MF towel.

I am not sure of the durability of the product but for a quick prep before a car show this product def bits the bill....:xyxthumbs

NXT spray wax will streak a lot more than a typical QD or any other spray wax I have used. However, that is because it is a really different product. This stuff is actually a spray wax in every sense of the word. You've got liquid, paste and now spray waxes. This stuff sprays on and then literally needs to be 'buffed' off. Its not a spray and wipe product. So far the way I've been using it is to spray it on and then go over it once with a microfiber just doing my best to buff it off. Then I go over the car a second time with a dry microfiber and buff it all again. That seems to take care of all the streaks and residual product that hides out. If you don't get it all off then this is a product that will show up the next day just like when you miss buffing a spot of normal wax off.

The payoff is remarkable on this product. I am really a fan. The shine it leaves is very similar to the NXT protectant. Kinda plasticy, but very glossy and nice. Its definitely what I'll use on cars that just want a quick job done on them and aren't paying for a wax job. I would highly recommend it to anybody. So far I have been very impressed with the NXT line. The dash protectant is pretty greasy for me, but everything else is really amazing.

I am with Jngr on this one. I have used all of the NXT products and have been very happy with all of them. The NXT Protectorant is greasy but I find that if I wipe it down with a MF after letting it sit it takes alot of the gloss off.

The Spray Wax is great. I can't believe the way it enhanced the clairity after putting down a coat of S100. Its the perfect final prep right before a car show if you have the time. :xyxthumbs
