NXT prices

I just went to Vancouver ( Delta actually ) and saw NXT in Lordco .. None in Canadian Tire ..

Now get this .. Lordco prices it at $40.+ The NXT wash was $17 and in Walmart in Wash state its just over $14 for the NXT and $6+ for the wash.

And you wonder why we whine up here. Best price I can find on NXT is $20.50 plus $7.50 shipping.

NXT is a good all round LSP and I think this type of pricing is going to kill it up here.

$40 Canadian = $32 American = Too much for NXT.

Have one of your Yank Autopian Homies mail you some product. Hell, pm me and I'll do it. Just Paypal me to cover expenses.

Wow...I was in Wallmart here in Ohio the other day and it was priced at like 13.78 or something just less than $14....and the NXT wash and booster wax were receently on sale at meijger locally for $4.00 each...too bad all the wash was gone by the time I got there. Not a fan of the booster wax so I didn't pick any up.

I'm sure someone here could go pick some up and arrange to have it shipped to you...heck I'm always looking for new products to use...maybe we could even work out some sort of trade.

If you're interested...shoot me a PM

Back in the spring, during the NXT craze, a buddy saw some in Calgary and bought us both a bottle for over $35 Cdn or about $25 US.

I still have that nearly full bottle - sell it back to you at my cost, Deemo... or trade you for some P21S!!!!

Gawd....did I pay that much?

What was I thinking? That must have included GST!

I don't know what's worse...paying that much or admitting that it been 6 months and the bottle is still nearly full.

Shame on you:nono

You are in the Autopia penalty box...5 minutes for unsportsman like behavior!

First, smilie only posts don't contribute much, why do you disagree with him?

Second...I agree with him. NXT is worth $10 tops. I'd happily pay $8.99 for the product, however, I can name products that I can get for $16-$30 that blow NXT away in durability and look just as good, and feel just as slick. It just isn't a $15 product, IMO. I can save money by buying #16 and be just as happy.

Thanks for the offer guys I still have 1 1/3 bottles left .. I don't use it on mine but I have a few clients that like it and don't mind a full detail every 8 weeks or so .. every one of them sees at last that in durability.

I was more just pointing out what we Canucks have to put out for some of the products .. eg P21S wax is $39.95 / Klasse twins is $54.95 / Pinnacle Souverän Wax 8oz is $93.50.

$20.50 at eshine.ca

I think the Lordco's in Burnaby were pricing them at $30 sale price, but now they are back to their regular price of $39.95. But if you have a discount car, it should only be about $26 or so.

All the Canadians on the forum know what Jesstzn is saying. We get beat large on most meguiar's products. That is no doubt a failure of Megs in the States having some control on the Canadian Distributor.

I believe it costs Meguiars product sales because we have to pay attention to alternative products. Its not just NXT but as an example the Ultimate Wipe MF is $10.36...Gold Class Wax is $21.10 and a gallon of #62 wash is $51.53.

It sure isn't the difference between our dollar and the US buck and there are no duties as we now have free trade.

Somebody is trying to get rich I guess.

No. Canada's material standard of living is measurably lower than that of the US. Look up the World Bank reports.
