NXT on orange mustang

I went to walmart today to see if I could find some NXT but I didn't have any luck so I went to a local autopart store (VIP) to pick up some oil and on the shelf they had one bottle of NXT wax and one of the spray.... So I grabbed them and headed home to see if it works as well as people are saying.

Well I have used zaino topped with s100 for a couple of years now and I have been very happy other than how much longer it takes to apply the zaino. The first thing I found with the NXT is this stuff is easy on and easy off, I mean it takes almost no time at all to use this product. Like I said I have used zaino with s100 for a while and I love the look it gives me but I have to say that NXT looks just as good (maybe better) in half the time it takes me with zaino.

So with that said if NXT will last more than a couple of weeks I don't think I will be buying anymore zaino or s100, I will stick with NXT for $14.99 a bottle.

How often are you guys applying NXT? I love this stuff, but it doesn't seem to last. I clayed and did NXT last week. I washed a week later (yesterday). It still seemed to bead up well and all, but after I dried the car there was really not much slickness to the paint at all. So I applied another coat of NXT. It's so easy and inexpensive and makes my car look so awesome that I'd like to do it after ever wash. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this??

I hope this stuff last longer than a week ??? :) I also bought the detailing spray that I will use atleast once a week so I think It will help keep NXT going a little longer.

I don't know. Maybe I should let the wax sit longer? I waited 15-20 minutes. I don't think the soap I was using had much to do with it (turtle wax soap). It just didn't have that slickness after I washed. After another coat though it was very slick.

Looks sweet! Wait until tomorrow, it should look even better.

BTW, I have been using NXT for about 6 weeks now and all the cars I have used it on are still beading just fine and have decent slickness. Most I wash with QEW (very wax friendly) and a couple I wash with the NXT Wash (that customer has a pressure sprayer and water deinonizer he likes me to use).

MAC[H]Z,

Great car! Great color!

If you took the added expense and difficulty of the Zaino + S100 combo (I know pretty important stuff to disregard) and compared Z + S100 combo vs NXT just in terms of appearance ... which do you prefer?

Scott,

I am looking forward to trying some of that #16 as soon as I can get my hands on some! So far I can't find any in Santa Barbara! :(

Some how, I still love using a carnauba in my detailing regimen.

Cheers,
