No need to 'help clarify.' I'm sure Autopians can make their own decisions.
Mike, given that so many look up to you, I'm bothered by your total disrespect for a member's opinion. The sarcasm in your post is clear - implying that I must be a complete idiot and liar, for my results in person do not look as good as your pictures. Well in fact, I took a picture of my muddied NXT hood and it looks pretty good:
I have never seen the words,
muddied, or muddying effect used to describe the results of NXT, or any wax, but then I haven’t done an exhaustive search, maybe someone else can use the search function and pull up posts where people have used the term muddied and muddying effect?
You can find where the NXT started and ended - check the region of the washer fluid nozzle.
You are letting the wax set-up for 24 hours before washing are you not?
On the picture, the NXT side only looks darker and shows none of the muddiness that I got in reality. In fact my wife noticed, and for a second, thought I left a side unwashed and dirty.
??? I don't think I understand what you wrote? NXT works? or it Doesn't?
Mike, just because you like how NXT looks does not grant you the power to ignorantly shove off my opinions as BS. [/b]
Muddying-effect? Muddiness? Yeah, I suppose it's possible on some paint types, or applied to a surface that is not properly prepared... but to actually describe the result NXT gives you on a properly prepared surface to be described as
Muddy?
Tell you what, stop by the Porsche event today and show me your car, better yet demonstrate, or let me demonstrate on it and let's see the muddying effect.

(This will of course have to be after the event)
Will I get another $80 worth of free products as an apology? Sorry, I'm not that easily purchased.
Well that's mighty kindly to take what I did as a sincere apology and twist into something ugly. I gave you the benefit of the doubt last time and owned up to making a mistake. For that, I apologized and offered to send you some products out of my own pocket to show that I meant it, you know, walk the talk, not just talk the talk. If I thought I was wrong again, I would apologize again. Instead, I would like to see the muddying effect.
Quite frankly, I¡Â¦m sick of everything. And I thought "Z-heads" (that you are quick to bash on your forum) were bad...
There are a few comments about Z-heads on ShowCarGarage.com, just like there are a few comments about Z-heads here and elsewhere... but I don't think anyone could ever call ShowCarGarage a place of bashing... in fact I welcome all opinions there.
I hope some others see the light.
As do I.
Here's some more of the muddying-effect...
I'd like to stick around and talk about the muddying-effect of NXT some more, but instead of talking about it... I'm going to go have some fun polishing paint.
Mike
