Nu-Finish

I have a quick one...

I was thinking about using Nu-Finish polish on my 2007 F150.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't?

Does anyone out there use it on their daily driver?

Please let me know what you think.

Thank you...

I used it on my 97 F-150. Worked fine, except, keep it the heck away from black plastic trim. It will stain the trim and that is very hard to fix.

Other than that, it works OK, but, there are better things. I used to top it with S-100, but it was OK by itself.

i've used it, i actually am doing a comparison on one of my cars. half nu finish half another sealant. it's still beading better than the other sealant(ht-69). i bought nu finish before i found this web site, since then i've stuck with poorboys exp, goes on easier, come off easier, and smells better. i still will use nufinish on my chrome wheels, it's strong chemical cleaners work perfectly, imo, for that purpose.

Search around, there are many posts covering NuFinish.

It's okay, but there are better products for the money.

I reviewed several threads about Nu-Finish...

Now I'm really confused!

I read everything from, "It works great for your daily driver.", to "It's the worst thing you can do to your car, especially a new car, and it may be harmful to your health!".

What's the real story on this product?

Probably a bit of truth in all of 'em. :)

There are soooo many good-quality products out there, that if there's even the slightest bit of doubt, you might want to move on and use something else.

I don't like the stuff. I think the cleaning power sucks compared to most cleaner waxes and the gloss just isn't there. It does seem to bead for a while, but why bother when there is great stuff like Collinite out there.

Poison....many superior solutions. The dusting, staining, marring and odor will really be off-putting if it's your 1st experience.

I read a lot of "doom and gloom" here about this perfectly good product.

I don't find it smelling too horrible or it staining trim or dusting much if at all.

Looks real good topped with M26.

Maybe if it was hard to get and expensive

hmmm

I can see it now,,,,

Poor Natty Concourzaino Vintage Ultra NUE Finish
