NSX, wet sanding *PICS*NO 56K

great job , pics and write up man..WOW..really sweet.

? , Is the #40 a meguires product ? I've been using PB BnB for tires and engine and a no-touch tire care for the fender wells but it gets a little messy if you know what I mean ..Not to mention the occasional misspray or face shot,,LOl..

You definately do great work and know your stuff...I'll use the #40 50/50 if I can find it..Mahalo

Hmm I wonder how much the W-dressing is do you have access to the W-dressing I know the new detailer line water based dilutable dressing is $30+.

Thanks everyone!! This car was so much fun it was almost not like work.

Frozen, I have not tried the w-dressing. I think I am going to try the hyper dressing next. If I am not mistaken it should be about $30-40 a gallon, but is dilutable up to 4:1. My local PBE can get any meguiars or 3M product over night.

Hawaiianelement, yep it is a meguiars product. I am not sure what the availablity would be on the islands, but if you can find it, it is worth checking out.

Incredible work... :bow

Did you get to detail the engine compartment as well?
Very interesting liscence plates on it...where did the car come from originally?

I didn't get to detail th engine because the owner was afraid that the water may damage some components. I tolsd him how to use a spray bottle and an assortment of brushes to clean it without drenching it. He is going to detail it himself before the show.

Thanks again!!!

Oh yeah, he bought the car here in the US, but just about every mod on the car was imported directly from japan. The license plate was imported as well.

From what I hear the comptech SC is the "tame" way to add power. I guess it would be more street friendly. Have you been in it? I bet it is fun to drive!!!!

Thanks everyone!

yes and i have drove it a handful of times. he was pushing almost 700 to the ground on that thing. the entire motor was built. but he could never get it to run right at least the way he wanted it to so he sold it. it had the veil side wide body kit on it as well.
