Hola. Long day of haggling with car dealers, thought I'd post some pics to help unwind.
First up, a 2003 spa yellow Acura NSX. Condition was moderate swirling and heavy road tar, otherwise nothing really major. The owner uses it as a daily driver.
Wash with Z7
Clay
Hood got EC/OP @1500
Rest of the car got Heavy Cut @ 1500
Whole car 106ff @1300
Acrylic Jett
Next up was his co-workers Nissan 350Z, intergalagos fire red? I dunno, a cool color though! The car was pretty rough, fairly deep swirls left after a botched dealer compounding (holograms readily apparent), some deep scratches and some really deep bird etchings and water spots. I think it sat on a lot for awhile.
Wash with Z7
Clay
EC/OP @1500
Heavy cut via 4 inch pads on some bird poop etchings
Smooth Cut @ 1300
Acrylic Jett
This car did not come out 100%. The bird poop etchings were too deep to fully remove, I wetsanded them pretty aggressivly, no luck.
2003 Infiniti G35, black of course! Moderate swirling but the owner was actually fairly good at keeping it in good shape, he just didn't have the tools to do a proper swirl removal. Sorry no befores, it was raining/murky when I arrived. In fact, it rained on and off most of the day (as you'll see in the last pic!). Luckily it was not at inoportune times.
Process was:
Wash
Clay
Heavy Cut @ 1500
Smooth Cut @ 1300
Souveran
First time I've been able to go from a rotary to LSP on a black G. Heavy + Smooth cut is a great combo.
2004 Imola Red M3. Again the owner was very particular but the car had heavy swirling. Process:
EC/OP @1500
106FF @ 1300
RMG
Souveran
Used RMG because the owner requested at the expense of durabilty that I "make red look the best I know how".
You can tell which are the befores and afters!
Cheers.
