Well The is300 finally got some attention from me after this crappy weather they call summer. I got a chance to clay the car and apply S100. Also painted the brake calipers, applied lexus logos, zainoed the rims, and detailed the wheel wells. Here is a few pics, I didn't drive the car after detailing it hence the nasty brake rotors.

Cool trick, adding the Lexus logo to the caliper. I like the look! Did you paint the calipers while they were on the car?

yes i did, careful masking... I put 2 coats of paint on each caliper.

Great job Al... You always impress me with the quality of work you do on cars..

I haven't had a chance to speak to you in a while.. hope everything is going well..

keep up the great work.. Might pay you a visit this upcoming school year to hnag out, and get a drink..

take care.

How did you do the logos on that that looks really nice and OEM they cant be stickers I would think that they would be melted off from the high heat of the breakes.

are the fog light on the IS you got Really yellow is the bubl thats yellow or the actual houseing thats yellow ?

I always loved these 3 cars

Lexus IS300, MB C32 ///AMG, BMW M3

I like the wheels on the IS300, clean lines. They look like they'd be fairly easy to keep clean and QD. The calipers came out nice too.

I've always liked the IS300

Lush colour :xyxthumbs

Now get a Toms or TRD kit on there ;) :D

What Bridgestones are you running btw? Are they RE040 or RE010?

AlBoston, can you explain how you Zaino'd your wheels? I've got a new set of Volk GT-C's on my Supra that I'd like to put a sealant on but I'm not sure how I should go about doing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Calipers look great too!

ok, here are the answers...

Stock fog lights: Projector has a yellow lens over it to create a yellow beam, many people remove this but I like it.

Zainoed wheels: I simply applied the zaino just like I would to paint. Washed with dawn (I sprayed em down with alcohol in my case) mixed Z2 with ZFX and applied.

Lexus logos: They are stickers believe it or not in metallic silver. They are supposed to withstand high temperatures. I have had them on the painted calipers for about 2 months now, no problems.

tires: I am running bridgestone RE040s

Thanks for the compliments everyone! :)

I like the Lexus IS300 But i would get the prototype IS430 with the LS430 V8 in it to compare to the C32 AMG and the BMW M3.

But still its a nice car.
